Carrie is currently working for Maranatha Volunteers International, based in Roseville, California as a communication specialist. She was hired to edit the quarterly print publication, bimonthly electronic newsletter and other regular and sporadic duties. Her responsibilities have expanded to include occasional field production and script writing for the Maranatha Mission Stories television program, volunteer project coordination and fundraising letters.

She previously worked as communication director at AdventSource in Lincoln, Nebraska. She led the GROW branding campaign, established a public relations plan, maintained consistent contact with regional communications contacts and provided PR counsel to the administrative team.
